Open-Source gear drives for electric skateboards

This project’s goal is to develop a gear drive capable of keeping up with the demands of modern high performance electric skateboards while maximizing watts transferred per dollar.

The number of custom machined metal parts needed for this drive is 3. All other components are either COTS or can be 3D printed.

This project is currently a work in progress. Testing is currently being done and the results will be posted here as an update.
