Battery

The Hoyt St Cascade was the last product I was involved with developing during my time at Hoyt St. This board was originally designed by us around a ~60V system. The battery was a 16s6p configuration. To upgrade this I had to shrink other components and work with Benjamin Franceschi to develop a PCB for a new, extra slim, 20s5p battery. The PCB replaced bulky conductors and battery management wires.

Drivetrain

Based around two 8kW outrunner motors and a 5:1 reduction this electric skateboard can smoothly and quickly accelerate to 55mph.
