Design

This project was an opportunity to learn how to design structures using sheet metal. Using Fusion 360 I was able to create a flat pattern that could be bent and then welded in place. This method proved successful in creating a mostly hollow and rigid body to fit a custom built high voltage battery pack, also designed and built by me.

Battery

When assembled the battery pack in the Cyboard is a 16s6p configuration. Due to the unique construction of the chassis the battery had to be built in sections that can be connected through passages in the internal structure.
